Julia Loren, Author & Speaker

Julia Loren started out as a journalist (B.A., University of Washington), then became a licensed counselor (M.S., Seattle Pacific University), and is now a full time professional writer and speaker.

Her reputation as one who is called to chronicle the current move of God upon the earth is growing with every book that she writes.

A very inspirational speaker, Julia ministers in a variety of venues around the world and offers a variety of workshops and retreats that brings delight to the hearts of people as they connect with their destiny. The focus of her ministry is releasing God's love and healing to those who long for more of Jesus.

Julia was born in San Francisco during an era when her parents frequented parties with the likes of Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Allan Ginsburg. Raised in Southern California, Julia fell under the spell of the ocean and spent her youth in or on or under water in the company of other "happy heathens". She just missed the Jesus People movement (being too young to know what a hippie was) but she caught hold of the depth of longing for spiritual encounters that reside in the hearts of us all.

As a result of living in California most of her life, Julia has a keen understanding of the spiritual realms of light and darkness that impact our culture and our individual lives. Her books reflect discernment grounded in Biblical truth as well as the growing openness Christians have to encountering God in authentic & tangible ways - on earth as it is in heaven. She invites us all to encounter God's love and presence as she writes and speaks.
